Delete it from the app

Deletion is immediate and does not need a support request.

1. Open SiftCar and tap the ⋯ button in the top-right of your garage to open Settings.
2. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your data is removed from our servers straight away.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in record, including any Apple link.
• Every check and report in your garage, with the vehicle details you entered.
• Every photo you uploaded.
• Your bookmarks, price watches, and saved preferences.
• Unused credits, title checks, and remaining pass or subscription time on our side. These are not refundable and cannot be restored, so use them first if you want them.
• Any share links you created, which stop working immediately.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot recover a deleted account, and reinstalling the app creates a new empty one.

Cancel your subscription separately

Apple owns the billing relationship, so deleting your SiftCar account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it first, in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.

What we keep, and for how long

Deletion removes your data from our live systems immediately. Encrypted database backups held by our hosting provider roll off on a short rolling schedule measured in days, so a deleted account can survive there briefly. We also keep records we are legally required to keep, such as the purchase and tax records tied to a transaction, and short-lived server logs that no longer identify you once the account is gone. None of it is used to rebuild your account or to contact you.

Can't reach the app?

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@siftcar.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete it for you. We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner. Accounts created anonymously have no email attached, so include anything that helps us find yours — a shared report link is ideal.
