Most places people actually shop: Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay Motors, mobile.de, OLX, Otomoto, and most listing sites a normal browser can open. A handful refuse every robot — for those, snap or save the listing photos and enter the basics manually; the full photo analysis still runs.

No. SiftCar is an AI visual assessment based on the photos and information you provide. It's designed to help you shortlist cars and negotiate — always verify a car in person, ideally with a professional inspection, before buying.

Yes. After a check finishes, open Ask about this car and ask follow-ups — what to offer, biggest risk, whether something looks like a scam. Answers stay grounded in that report; if something isn't in the evidence, we say so.

Yes. Photo analysis (including odometer, VIN plate, warning lights, and tyre date codes), market context, known-issue lookup, scam checks, and negotiation scripts work anywhere. Netherlands plates get a live RDW register lookup. US cars with a VIN additionally get VIN decoding, open recalls, NHTSA owner-complaint data, and — with paid checks — official NMVTIS title, odometer, lien and theft records (each pull uses one of your plan's included title checks).

SiftCar goes further than a history pull: it reads what the photos actually show, checks seller claims and paperwork against that evidence, and — where available — official records (US NMVTIS title history on paid checks; NL RDW for Dutch plates). You also get condition findings with repair costs, fair price vs market, scam signals, known failures for that engine, and a negotiation script.

Your first full check is free. After that: a single check for $6.99 (no subscription), a one-time 30-day pass for $12.99 that never auto-renews, a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial, or an annual plan if cars are your thing. Every paid option includes official US title & odometer history — the pass comes with 4 title checks upfront, subscriptions include them weekly or as a yearly pool.

Purchases go through your App Store account, so both happen at Apple's end: cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings — at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or it renews — and refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Single checks and the 30-day pass don't auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel; the pass simply expires at the end of its window.

They're used to run your check and nothing else. Photos and pasted links go to the services that do the reading — Google's Gemini models, and Bright Data and Jina for opening listing pages — as our processors, who may only use them to answer us. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your photos or reports to train our own AI models. There are no advertising SDKs in the app. Your checks and photos are kept while your account exists so you can reopen them; delete a check, or your account, and they go.
